Vladimir Lugo is a ministerial technology advisor, IT professional, writer, speaker, and minister by calling, who assists Christian organizations in adopting online ministerial technologies to unleash the power of their mission. As an IT professional, he has over twenty years of experience. He has developed a deep understanding of information systems and has helped many institutions align their use of technology with their respective missions and strategic goals.
As a minister by calling, he has served the Christian community for over thirty years in ministry, understanding his calling as an educator and mentor. He has early adopted computerized programs for Bible study, social media, blogs, and electronic applications for teaching and learning. He has assisted various ministries in implementing administrative, productivity, and online presence systems. He studied Chemical Engineering in his home country, Venezuela, and graduated with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, with a concentration in Intercultural Studies. He holds specialist certifications in various Oracle technologies and as an Oracle Cloud and Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect.
He worked for 13 years at Loyola Marymount University, where he managed the software infrastructure for all administrative systems, which is a technical way of saying that if there was a database and a web server, he was responsible for it.
He worked for Ellucian, a company that provides software solutions for close to three thousand universities and colleges, migrating these systems to the public cloud before forming his own IT consulting company, Tepui Cloud, and content development company, Tepui Media, for which he currently works.
